Welcome to the CapSha Knowledge House
Advancing Capacity for Sustainable Development Across CGIAR and the Global South
CGIAR introduced the term ‘Capacity Sharing for Development’ (CapSha) to emphasize multi-directional capacity exchanges driven by mutual learning, co-development, and knowledge sharing. What is CapSha?
Capacity Sharing for Development (CapSha) is a CGIAR initiative built on a simple but powerful idea: capacity building should be a two-way exchange. It promotes mutual learning, joint innovation, and the exchange of knowledge, technologies, and evidence, so both CGIAR and its partners grow stronger together.
CapSha serves as a key pillar in CGIAR’s Engagement Framework for Partnerships and Advocacy, ensuring that all collaborators, especially those across the Global South, have the skills, tools, and competencies needed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
